Australian with terminal illness will be able to draw their super tax free

Peter Dutton, Minister for Revenue and Assistant Treasurer, announced 11 September 2007 that people with a terminal illness under the age of 60 will be able to access their superannuation tax free.

The minister announced that the legislation will have effect for payments received after 11 September 2007.
